ACECLOPILL SP

ACECLOPILL SP

Composition Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg and Serratiopeptidase 15 mg Tablets
Description

Introduction

ACECLOPILL SP is a prescription medicine containing Aceclofenac 100 mg, Paracetamol 325 mg, and Serratiopeptidase 15 mg, a well-established combination used for the symptomatic management of pain, inflammation, and soft tissue swelling associated with acute and chronic inflammatory conditions. The combination brings together the anti-inflammatory properties of Aceclofenac, the analgesic and antipyretic effects of Paracetamol, and the proteolytic activity of Serratiopeptidase to provide comprehensive symptomatic relief.

ACECLOPILL SP is widely prescribed for the management of musculoskeletal disorders, inflammatory joint diseases, dental pain, and post-traumatic or post-operative inflammatory conditions where pain, swelling, and inflammation coexist. When used under medical supervision, it helps improve patient comfort, functional mobility, and recovery from inflammatory conditions.

Uses of ACECLOPILL SP

ACECLOPILL SP is indicated for the symptomatic relief of pain, inflammation, swelling, and associated fever.

It may be prescribed for:

  1. Osteoarthritis
  2. Rheumatoid arthritis
  3. Ankylosing spondylitis
  4. Musculoskeletal disorders
  5. Soft tissue injuries
  6. Dental pain and inflammation
  7. Post-traumatic pain and swelling
  8. Post-operative pain and inflammatory swelling

Note: ACECLOPILL SP provides symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation but does not treat the underlying cause of the disease.

Benefits of ACECLOPILL SP

ACECLOPILL SP combines three well-established therapeutic agents that act through complementary mechanisms to provide comprehensive symptomatic relief.

Scientific benefits include:

  1. Provides effective relief from pain, inflammation, swelling, and associated fever.
  2. Reduces joint pain, tenderness, swelling, and stiffness associated with inflammatory musculoskeletal disorders.
  3. Helps relieve pain and inflammatory swelling following dental procedures and other surgical interventions, when prescribed by a healthcare professional.
  4. Serratiopeptidase may help reduce inflammatory soft tissue edema as an adjunct to conventional analgesic therapy.
  5. Improves physical function and mobility in patients with painful inflammatory conditions.
  6. The combination of Aceclofenac and Paracetamol provides effective analgesia while addressing both peripheral inflammation and central pain perception.
  7. Convenient fixed-dose combination may improve treatment adherence by reducing pill burden.

How ACECLOPILL SP Works

ACECLOPILL SP works through the complementary pharmacological actions of its three active ingredients.

Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, resulting in reduced synthesis of prostaglandins, the chemical mediators responsible for pain, inflammation, and swelling.

Paracetamol is an analgesic and antipyretic that acts primarily within the central nervous system to reduce pain perception and lower elevated body temperature through inhibition of central prostaglandin synthesis.

Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme used as an adjunct in inflammatory conditions. It helps break down inflammatory protein by-products and may facilitate the resolution of inflammatory edema, thereby contributing to the reduction of soft tissue swelling and improving patient comfort.

Together, these complementary mechanisms provide effective symptomatic relief of pain, inflammation, swelling, and fever associated with inflammatory conditions.
